Day 15: December festivals

December is not only about Christmas.

There are many festivals around the world and I found this website about some interesting ones.

I recommend some and perhaps you can use this article in  a Reading activity.

RaveOnSnow – Austria

The 23rd edition of RaveOnSnow is happening in Saalbach Hinterglemm from the 8th – 11th of december. This means 3 days and nights of partying in the Alps with the wildest crowd and over 80 of the best artists in electronic music. We’re taking over the best resorts, apres-ski bars & venues and there are loads of activities to do:

Open Air sessions on 2000 meters, boarding / skiing and strolling through the different clubs at night. You won’t get too much rest but you will have an amazing time in a winter wonderland.

Valhalla – Netherlands

After four magical editions – all of which fully sold out – the most incredible night circus in the Netherlands will be descending on Amsterdam once again. On Saturday, 17 December 2016, the world of Valhalla will lure you to RAI Amsterdam and sweep you into the surreal. Immerse yourself in a winter wonderland where the conventional is challenged by the impossible. Forget about pushing boundaries, this is about redefining the very meaning of ‘normal’.

Six Noblemen from different regions across the globe will gather at Valhalla Festival 2016 to present to you, The Cirque Mondiale! At the world’s greatest circus, you can expect a night full of wonders, magical mysteries, a dizzying array of worldwide circus acts, and of course a labyrinth of musical styles.
