X-mas stories… Part 1

Do you like X-mas stories? Which is your favourite one?

I remember a special book I read some years ago: Skipping Christmas, by John Grisham!!

It was my therapy against the highly commercial focus on X-mas that some years ago almost killed – deep inside my heart – the illusion of a traditional winter holiday.

I found the book at the local library and I read it in one afternoon! I loved it and I admired Luther and Nora Krank for their crazy decision to simply skip Christmas!!

I felt a surge of relief and it really helped me live that Christmas holidays in a different way: the therapy worked out!

I invite you to read here the excerpt.
